This Online Privacy Policy describes how Pro Athlete Community, Inc. (“PAC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal data we collect though our online properties, including proathletecommunity.com and our mobile application (collectively, the “Site” or “Sites”).
1. Personal Data We Collect
When you access the Sites, we collect the following types of personal data (a) directly from you, (b) automatically when you use the Sites, or (c) from our service providers or third parties:
- Identifiers, such as unique personal identifiers, online identifiers, email address, account name, phone number, and other information you provide when you create your profile.
- Demographic Data, such as age and gender.
- Professional Affiliations and Employment, such as organizations you played for and information related to your time with that program, job title, affiliated company, and previous work experience.
- Transactional Information, such as purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
- Geolocation Data, such as real-time information about the precise or approximate location of your device (GPS and network-based).
- Internet and Electronic Network Activity, such as IP address or mobile device identifier, type of browser and operating system, browsing and usage history, app usage information, unique device identifiers and device characteristics, and information regarding advertisements that you have interacted with, viewed, or accessed.
- Preference Information and Activities, such as your setting and sharing preferences; the types of content you view or interact with and how you interact with it; the features you use and how you use them; and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities.
- Social Information, such as individuals you message and other individuals and communities you are connected to and interact with.
This data may be combined and linked with data from other sources. Please note that we or third parties may collect personal data about your online activities over time and across different devices and online properties when you engage with the Sites. 2. How We Use Personal Data
We may use and process your personal data described above in the following ways:

We use cookies, software development kits (SDKs), other online tracking technologies (collectively “Cookies”) on our Sites to collect and analyze information about individuals’ interactions with the Sites. We are not responsible for opt-out processes provided by external parties.

Email Marketing
We may use your personal data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us. We may use email marketing service providers to manage and send emails to you.
Account Settings
If you have an account with us, you can log in and update, modify, and delete certain personal data.
6. Security of Personal Data
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage. Please note that because transmission via the Internet and online digital storage is not completely secure, we cannot guarantee the security of any information we may have collected from or about you through our Sites.

The Sites are not intended for, nor targeted to, children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 18. If we become aware that an individual submitting information is under 18, we will delete the information in accordance with applicable law.
8. California Shine the Light
California law permits customers in California to request certain details about how their personal data is shared with third parties, and in some cases affiliates, if personal data is shared for those third parties’ or affiliates’ own direct marketing purposes. We may share personal data with third parties or affiliates for those third parties’ or affiliates’ own direct marketing purposes. California residents may request information about our compliance with this law by contacting us using the information below. Letters should be addressed to Attn: PAC Registered Agent regarding Shine the Light. Any such request must include your name and “California Shine the Light Privacy Rights Request” in the first line of the description and, if sent by mail, must include your street address, city, state, and zip code.

Our Sites may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content of any websites that are not affiliated with us, any use of those websites, or the privacy practices of those websites. Linked websites may have their own privacy policies or notices, which we suggest you review if you visit any linked websites.

We may update our Online Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the effective date on this page. You are advised to review this Online Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
11. Information for Individuals Outside of the United States
If you are visiting the Sites from outside the United States, please be aware that information we obtain about you will be processed in the United States or in other jurisdictions. By using the Sites, you acknowledge your personal data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your own as described in this Policy.
